April 11, 2011When Pearl was a baby she loved "puffs." But Cole, he likes these cheeto-like crunchie things. They come in all sorts of flavors, veggie, garden tomato, cheese, and Cole's personal favorite, cinnamon maple. And we always know what flavor he's eaten by the smell of his breath and fingers.
The other day Jeff was reading in the T.V. room when Cole rolled over his canister of "cheetos" to him and said, "Mmmmm. Mmmmm." It was hilarious! He kept shaking the canister at Jeff until he figured out that Cole needed a snack. Now every time he sees these treats, he gets all excited, raises his arms up and says, "Mmmmm. Mmmmm."

I love the initial tries at verbal communication. It's when they get good at it and never stop demanding things that it's not so cute anymore!
