Grateful for a warm house

This moment of goofing off did not occur today. It was last week when Jeff rearranged Pearl's bedroom to give her more room to play in. (Why did I not let the man do this sooner? Sure I was worried about Pearl freezing with her bed up against the wall, but man! It feels like we've doubled the size of her room now.) When we unloaded the bookcase to move it, Cole decided to crawl up on the shelf and take a little nap. Pearl soon followed.

But after having the power off for almost 36 hours, we've never been so grateful to come home to a warm house as we were tonight.
