December 3, 2011This is the sole moment of peace and happiness today. Thanks goodness for a tree lot with Santa and a real reindeer.
The rest of the day was spent breaking up fights, putting Cole in time out for biting Pearl not once but twice, Cole destroying EVERYTHING even after being told "no" a hundred thousand times, trying to clean, doing laundry, ignoring my kids, wiping boogers, freaking out because you've been running ragged all day and the wind storm looks like it hit INSIDE the house, and screaming a lot. By all parties.
Minus Jeff. He was outside on clean up duty.
It's pretty sad when you have to tell your four-year-old you "pinkie promise" tomorrow will be a better day with less yelling and more fun.

My kids have been ending the day with "You didn't yell as much today, mom." Not sure if I'm glad that they notice my efforts or depressed that it was so bad they see an improvement!
