July 19, 2011Growing up my parents had several Shasta daisy plants in our front yard. They were about three feet in diameter, big, giant, balls of gorgeous white flowers. So when Jeff and Pearl re-did the flower bed by our driveway for my Mother's Day present a couple of years ago, I insisted we plant daisies. And under Jeff's green thumb, they have blossomed into gorgeous, 4 feet tall plants of happiness. I tease Jeff that he can't grow anything right... every plant he has doubles in size from what the tag says it should be! Tomatoes, trees, day lilies, ground cover, (weeds... he he), and daisies.
