Grandma Great

Today was my Grandma Great's (Kathryn Marie Dailey Jewkes) funeral. She was 102 years old.

My Dad, Grandpa Jewkes, brother, and sister drove to Sterling and Greeley Colorado for the funeral services and burial. I almost didn't go but when my Grand- (my Dad said the correct genealogical term is Grand and not Great) Uncle Brent called and asked if I'd say the closing prayer at the funeral, I had to go. I was really glad I did. I learned so much about my Grandma Great that I didn't know. It was fun to hear the stories and see how much she was loved by her friends. She was a spunky, fashion-savvy, beautiful, funny, and "radiantly hopeful" lady.
