We had a bit of a wasp/yellow jacket/hornet (what the heck is the difference between all of these anyway) this summer. They basically ate their way through some expanding foam stuff into our crawl space. And those pesky things made their nest so far back that Jeff couldn't get them with the spray. They happily buzzed and tormented us all summer long.
Until Jeff got even.
He gave up spraying them to death and simply plugged up their escape route. Once the cold set in, those suckers had nowhere to go.... that is except up. Up our kitchen vent to be more precise. Every day we kill at least a dozen or more wasps trying to escape out the kitchen window. Most of them die on their own pretty quick if left alone but with two kids who refuse to wear shoes in the house, my fear of someone's little foot will finding a stinger and having an allergic reaction gets the best of me and I go on a murder spree. Today I got these four no less than five minutes after getting home followed by another three of their friends before dinner.
Take note wasps, we will win.
